Summit Osteopathy
Summit Osteopathy
Founded in 2019, Summit Osteopathy is a thriving osteopathic clinic based in Shelley, WA, with a satellite clinic in Wagin, a rural town 250km south of Perth. Our vision is to empower people to get the most out of life—with passion, joy, and purpose. We work closely with our patients to help them realise their own summit, whether that’s regaining function, overcoming persistent pain, or simply feeling more confident in their bodies.
At Summit, we take a measured, evidence-based approach that tailors treatment to each individual. Using osteopathic reasoning, education, and collaboration, we aim to provide the best conditions for patients to thrive. We support them in feeling in control of their health and empowered to take charge of their well-being.
Our Team
Our team consists of four osteopaths, all committed to lifelong learning, teamwork, and patient-centered care. We use a mix of direct and indirect techniques, with a strong focus on patient education and empowerment. Three of our four osteopaths have completed additional training in Visceral Osteopathy, and our Clinical Education Coordinator, Madeleine Goodman, holds a Professional Certificate in Pain Neuroscience Education. Her expertise allows us to integrate pain education and osteopathy to help those experiencing persistent pain.
We work with a broad demographic, typically treating the general population (ages 8 and above). Our referrals are 75% word of mouth and 25% from local health professionals, including some very supportive GPs who trust and recommend our care.
As a new practitioner, you’ll find Summit Osteopathy to be a highly supportive environment. We have a structured mentorship program led by senior clinicians, featuring:
One-on-one mentorship
Collaborative tutorials
An open-door policy for clinical guidance (feel free to ask our clinician if this is true!)
Paid leave for CPD
We believe in fostering a relaxed, well-organised, and efficient work environment where both clinicians and patients can thrive.
What We Offer - Employment, Structured Mentoring and Unique Clinical Experiences
We employ our osteopaths under a base salary with a bonus structure, ensuring financial stability while rewarding performance. We also provide paid leave for CPD, so you can continue growing in your career. Our osteopaths are happy to share their experiences working with this model—it’s designed to be sustainable, rewarding, and supportive.
One unique aspect of working with us is our Wagin satellite clinic, where we provide osteopathic care to a rural community. Practitioners travel (with a colleague) to Wagin every three weeks for two-day trips, offering treatment to patients who may not otherwise have access to osteopathy. New graduates are expected to attend four trips per year, always supported by a senior clinician. These trips are highly rewarding, giving you the opportunity to work on the front lines of healthcare and make a significant impact in people’s lives.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for osteopaths who are:
Willing to learn—Our team is supportive and collaborative, with a strong mentorship culture.
Team players—We operate with virtual reception, so everyone pitches in to keep the clinic running smoothly (taking payments, helping with linen, etc.).
Passionate about Osteopathy—Open mind to continue learning application of osteopathic techniques and skills, clinical reasoning.
Excited about patient care—We love to empower and educate patients, and we want osteopaths who share this vision.
Community-minded—Our rural service is an essential part of what we do, and all team members contribute.
We want our osteopaths to enjoy being challenged, supported, and inspired.
What Sets Us Apart?

Organised, streamlined and therefore relaxed clinic environment - structure and function are interrelated ;)
Unique clinical experiences - Wagin Osteopathic Service provides 600 consults a year to Wagin and it's surrounding communities.
High prioritisation of care for the clinician, doing our best to create an environment for us all to thrive.
Employment model- base and bonus structure, with easily reached hurdles.
Strong referral network with GPs, podiatrists, and exercise physiologists.
Busy clinics in both the city and country with a supportive and loyal patient base.
Clinic dog—Edgar, our rescued racing greyhound, brings a calm and friendly presence to the clinic.
Leadership in the profession—our clinic owner, Georgia, has played a significant role in Osteopathy Australia, serving as a director for six years and chairing the Osteopathy Research Committee for four years. She is passionate about osteopaths having sustainable career opportunities and is proud to look after such a wonderful crew of clinicians.
We are constantly evolving to support our team. Our next initiative is trialing AI note-taking to help reduce the administrative burden on clinicians.

Uniquely, Summit Osteopathy has a satellite clinic in the West Australian Wheatbelt, in Wagin, a small town 250km south of Perth. Part of your role would be to travel (with a colleague) throughout the year to provide care for the community there also.
Both the city and the country clinics are busy, but still maintain a calm and friendly environment. This is a fabulous opportunity for a new graduate or experienced practitioner that would like to be challenged with wide variety of cases in a supportive and engaging clinical setting.
